Recipe for a Delicious Chocolate Brownie

When you have a sweet tooth, craving for desserts such as brownie can hit you anywhere and anytime. Brownie is one of the most famous desserts around the world. It is the perfect combination of cake, cookie and fudge. Not only does it just melt in your mouth but also captivates your eyes.

Dense and rich, brownies are gooey, incredibly fudgy, indulgent and easy to make. This is a tempting recipe which is liked by everyone, especially kids.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

2/3 cup oil

2/3 cup natural cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

3 large eggs

2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cups powdered sugar

2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

• Place a rack in the middle of the oven and heat it up to 3250 F. Take a baking pan and coat it with a cooking spray. Then, sprinkle the pan with flour. Set aside.

• Pour oil in the microwave safe bowl and heat it for 4-5 seconds until warm, but not hot. Add cocoa powder and whisk until it completely turns out smooth. Wait for 5-6 minutes for cocoa to bloom. You can use canola oil as your preferred oil for baking as it is light and non-greasy, which will make your brownies more tender and moist.

• Put flour, baking powder and salt in the small bowl and whisk to combine. Set it aside.

• Place the eggs, powdered sugar and brown sugar in another bowl. Then, beat on medium speed until fluffy with the help of mixer for 2-3 minutes. Add the vanilla extract into it and the beat it again until it blends.

• Add 1/2 of the cocoa mixture to the egg mixture and blend for about 5 minutes until both mixtures completely combine.

• Add the flour mixture to the combined mixture of egg and cocoa mixture until blended. Then add the remaining cocoa mixture and mix for about 1 minute till it turns smooth and shiny.

• Transfer the mixture to the baking pan and spread into an even layer.

• Bake for 20-25 minutes until brownies begin to pull away from the edges. Let them cool before cutting into pieces. Do not over bake them.

• Tip: you can also bake up to 30 minutes if you like firm and crispy brownies.

• These brownies can be stored into an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap at room temperature for up to 2 days.

When you are attacked by the untimely cravings, brownies are your savior. Brownies taste more toothsome when they are made with Hudson canola oil because it produces fluffier baked products with lighter crumbs, making it suitable for baking.
